Approximately 50,000 Awaji Kuromatsu trees grow over and are designated as a national scenic spot. Acquired AA in the beach water quality survey in 2024. It is a famous spot designated as one of the "100 Best Beaches in Japan", "100 Best Sunsets in Japan", "88 Best Beaches in Japan", and "100 Best Bathings (Special Selection)" and boasts the largest sandy beach in Awajishima, 2.5 km north-south. Summer is full of camping and swimming.
