Experience making only one work in the world with Awaji tiles, a traditional industry with a history of 400 years

Awaji tiles are one of the three major tiles in Japan along with Iwami tiles and Sanshu tiles. Among them, Awajishima boasts the largest market share in the country for Ibushi tiles.
"Awaji Ibushi Tile" uses high-quality clay from Awajishima, and is characterized by its stunning "Ibushigin" clearness with deep luster created by unique firing methods and smoking conditions.

You can experience creating "tile", a local industry of Awajishima, as a "tile coaster" where drinks are placed.

The tile coaster makes full use of the original humidity control effect of the porous structure, and magically absorbs the condensation of the glass with an overwhelming water absorption power. You can experience the wisdom of our predecessors and the goodness of Japanese architecture for a long time in hot and humid Japan through this single tile seat.
The silver glow of Awaji soil, baked in a special baking method that reproduces the old-fashioned texture, has a modern side while feeling a refined retro taste.
